What are Eagles Reading in Their Free Time?

When students aren't busy with homework or sports, many of them turn to books. Some favorite authors here at Ralston are J.K Rowling and Rick Riordan.

Their stories include great characters, intriguing plots, and exciting adventures. Fantasy is the most popular genre with books like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Many students just want to enjoy a good book when they get the chance!

Eagles' Summer Travels

Many Ralston Eagles spread their wings this summer and explored new places around the world while spending time with family and creating memories. Here’s a look at where some of our classmates traveled to:

Trinity Nguyen’s summer was packed with adventure. She visited New York City, where she explored the bright lights of Times Square and enjoyed a magic show.
She then headed back to the west coast to Las Vegas where she checked out the incredible new Sphere and tasted food from different restaurants.
To top it all off, she spent time in Honolulu, Hawaii where she relaxed on the beach.

Taylor Duong traveled to Vietnam and visited several cities, including Saigon, Da Nang, Da Lat, and Ho Chi Minh City.
One of her highlights was going to Ba Na Hills, where she walked across the famous Golden Bridge.
She also spent quality time with her family, visiting a lake together and enjoying the chance to reconnect.

Mohammed Abid headed to Dallas, Texas.
He reconnected with family and attended a family wedding.

Ronnie Evaristo traveled across the Pacific to the Philippines. He visited the Puerto Princesa Underground River, one of the "New 7 Wonders of Nature".

From New York’s skyscrapers to Vietnam’s mountains, and from the sandy beaches of Hawaii to the heart of Texas, our Eagles had an amazing summer filled with travel and memories!

Are you bored or looking for something to watch?

Ralston students have some great recommendations for you to enjoy. 7th grader Benson Pham, recently watched Netflix's series "Wednesday". One of his favorite scenes is when Tyler "the Hyde" first appeared. For something interesting and intense, "Wednesday" is the one.

Another Eagle pick is Happy Gilmore 2, also on Netflix. Nathan Reyes enjoyed the moment where Eminem gets thrown into a pond of alligators. This comedic charm is something fun to watch.

Mindy Le recommends the show "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K." This anime show brings out laughter.

Last but not least, Sidney Sanchez binged Netflix's "Squid Games".

Let us know which recommended shows and movies you've tried!
